For first timers, sea cucumbers need to be soaked for 3 to 4 days with purified water with the change of water every 6 hours. When the sea cucumber softens (easily cut open), it is time to clean the mid section.
Once they are cleaned, soak them back into a bowl or a pan that is salt-free and oil-free until it double its size. When the whole hand feel is saggy and soft, its ready to be cooked / used.
Our curated ingredients are good enough to go with any kinds of bones (chicken / pork) and you may add other enhancers like carrots, corns and fungi too.
