- Sea coconut helps nourish the lungs, relieve coughing and dispels internal heatiness.
- Dried snow pears are an excellent source of soluble and insoluble fibre, which are essential for digestive health. Fibre helps maintain bowel regularity by softening and bulking up stool. Low in calories but contain vitamin C, vitamin K, copper and potassium all of which are essential for blood and bone health.
- Dried figs are a good fruit source of calcium, which is essential for healthy bones. Their high potassium content may counteract the urinary excretion of calcium caused by high salt diets. This in turn helps to keep calcium in bones and lessens the risk of osteoporosis.
- Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae is a traditional medicine which aids in relieving cough and reducing phlegm.
